I’m Erin. I write young adult fantasy novels. I am also a nerd, blogger, novice webdesigner, New York City resident, and a big reader of all things remotely fantastic.

On this site you’ll also be able to find a bit of my (ancient) writing, mostly critical, including parts of the honors thesis I wrote several years ago, during my senior year of college. That thesis, entitled “Girls Who Save the World: The Female Hero in Young Adult Fantasy” was the product of a life-long obsession with the genre. That’s probably the reason why I write about strong female protagonists. Heroes, if you will. (That whole gender thing of “hero” vs. “heroine” is very Twentieth Century.)
